Graham Wedding

Kristen and Chris' wedding was at A&M Gardens in Azle back in March. It was beautiful and fun! There were lots of other classmated there that I took photos of, but I didn't post most of them. I finally tried out my new Adobe photoshop softward, so time consuming to edit and I have a ton to learn. I think I'll stick to cakes for now. Here are a few of the highlights:

I'm sure your mouth just dropped open when you saw that yes, I am posting to the blog again!! I have a few things to catch y'all up on...so here's round 1!
Melissa Kauk and I went to a gait course in Denver called "When the feet hit the ground, everything changes." It was an interesting course; however, it didn't prove to be extremely applicable to the fun population that we normally see. Oh well, knowledge is power, right?
We got to stay with Summer and Andrew! And while I'm talking about them...Summer's pregnant!! Yea!!! I'm so excited for my new niece or nephew! Here's my trip in picture form:

DFW airport thought this area should be a "child's area"...does working at Children's count for us? We thought it was the perfect place to eat a quick lunch.

We got to eat dinner at a dear college friend, Laura Cooper's house. She's in Denver for school to be a counselor. If the picture is confusing (I understand), we're tossing pizza crust for our homemade pizzas. It was obviously very fun.

One of the most normal pictures Summer and I have ever taken. We went to dinner in downtown Denver and ate delicious burgers!

St. Patty's Day festivities were abundant. And Melissa made a new friend!

After class on Sunday, we drove to Boulder and went hiking. It provided one of the moments where I stop and say, "Why do I live in Dallas?"

I hope I can hike that well when I am preggers.

We were so proud of Melissa going hiking. She didn't fall down once...and yes, this was a big deal.

We learned some taping techniques, and we were competing to see who could tape Summer's feet better. Melissa easily won.

Summer decided she could make up her own taping techniques. She's a natural...if you want your distal tib/fib to be completely fixed and your feet to lose all circulation.

Wonderful trip! So fun to get to hang out with Summer and Melissa! I'm hoping someday we can go to a continuing education course together?!

Beignets at Cafe du Monde and amazing desserts in teh Garden District at Sucre, a fancy little treat shoppe/boutique.

A pic of Morgan's poster (with Amanda ...see we did do some PT stuff :) Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral. We walked through downtown to the Farmer's Market and got cafe au lait (I had to beg for free milk since the place I originally bought it at ran out! They must've been yankees!)

This is the amazing historic 9,000 square foot home we stayed at on St. Charles Ave. It was fabulous and the host couple/owners were so so sweet. It did however take at LEAST 15 minutes to get warm water. I showered once and washed my face with 37 degree water for the first time since glacial waters in Alaska :D.

Maggie and I had a great time in NOLA! We missed yall and hope that maybe one day we can all go together!!! We got to enjoy some sight seeing although it was a bit chilly. Maggie had to maintain her cranial heat when we got gas in Waco. (She also brought some interesting books on CD lol, yall missed out). Maggie was a hard core driver, clocking I believe about 7 hours in one sitting at one point.

I got to catch up with my family and see my grandpa. We stayed in baton Rouge with my parents the first night. They had turned the heating blanket on before we got there so the bed would be nice and cozy... it only took a few seconds for it to be turned off and the fan to be turned on by our one and only M.A. lol ;)

We ate lots of good cajun food, saw some beautiful bayou scenery and learned some good stuff too!
