You are correct. I haven't posted in over 6 months or so? I was challenged today at our little gathering at Rachel's to blog, and I love a good challenge. So this first one has all pictures from my July trip to California with Summer and Diana. You'll see the slot machines...those are because flew standby on Southwest and almost got stuck overnight in Vegas. It was a mess, but thank goodness, I got there safe and sound...at 1:00am.
Out on the pier in the morning, we watched the 209384092 surfers that are always out there!
This is Summer with her cousin's sweet baby girl...working on head control. :)
They make kayaks for 3 people, which was perfect!! We got to tour a pretty bay that was full of baller houses and boats.
Summer pretty much sat and talked about houses/boats and drank a beverage while Diana and I paddled and steered. It's ok, though, we all have different strengths.
We ate at a fun bar and grill and had these killer rainbow drinks. Magical.

The whole reason we went here was because Summer's parents bought an incredible house in Huntington Beach, CA that is about 2 blocks from the beach. And this is the roof. Naturally I fell asleep out here.
Summer's sweet Gram lives in Huntington Beach, too. She treated us to a fun breakfast at her favorite restaurant. Such a cute lady!
We got some beach cruisers and took the ferry across to Balboa Island.
Wonderful dessert...Balboa Bars!! Yum!
